Triggers fields

Hi, i’ve been looking around for answers and Google isn’t much of a help. I’ve looked at documentation but I was not able to find or understand really the potential answer of a doubt.

Let’s say I have an item that’s monitoring a log and fires a trigger when certain conditions are met. Let’s say this item has 3 dependant items that use regex to extract 3 fields from the log.

i’d want to include these 3 items in the original trigger, that is associated to the master item.

is this possible? If yes, how I can refer them? Am I trying to reinvent the wheel?

You can only use values of those items, what you are using in your trigger expression. I don't know, what kind of info is in your master item, but You can also regex out some values in item names, so maybe you can compile a usable event name there... https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...acro_functions (iregsub and regsub)
