Zabbix Server and Agent

Hi Zabbix,

I would like to ask why my Zabbix server cant get data from other location.
but it seems working to us locally.

Here's the setup we have multiple server where outside our network and we've installed zabbix agent there to monitor that server.

Weve open all the required port from our firewall even on the server to communicate with our server (80,10050,10051)

Can you please help me to connect this server and agent?

Hello,
You'll have to open and redirect 10050 port from your remote public IP address to your remote host.
On the WebUI, just set the public IP address when creating host.

In the agent config file, try to set the public IP address of the server as "Zabbix server".
Could you post agent error log too ?

Thanks this is done now, i've used active mode so that the Agent will send all the data to the server.

Zabbix agent cant start , zabbix-agent.service failed

I would like to ask why my Zabbix agent cant start on red hat Linux Clint , i got this error

# systemctl start zabbix-agent
Job for zabbix-agent.service failed because the control process exited with error code. See "systemctl status zabbix-agent.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.

Have you tried looking at "systemctl status zabbix-agent.service" as the error suggested?

If you can post the output of that, and also the agent log file that would be a great help.

Have you configured the agent correctly, and made sure there are no typos in the conf file?
