Active Item Checks During Maintenance Periods

Hey guys. I am sitting with a issue where one of my hosts is trying to do a SSL Discovery check during a maintenance period with no data collection leading to me not getting any data for the certificates.
Is there any way to reschedule this specific host without doing a scheduled item.

Unfortunately, without a scheduled item, rescheduling a specific host's SSL Discovery check may not be possible within your current setup. Consider reaching out to your monitoring system's support or community forums to explore alternative solutions or workarounds. It's crucial to ensure consistent data collection, especially for SSL certificates, so addressing this issue promptly is essential for maintaining your system's integrity.

Why not just use maintenance with data collection? What maintenance does, is keeping escalations away. Agents do not stop collecting data even during the maintenance period, that data is just discarded, if your maintenance is "without data collection"...

Maybe to rephrase.and explain the issue a bit more:
We have a customer with servers hosted in the Cloud, and for cost saving reasons, they have started to shut down some non-productions servers for about 6 hours during the AM hours.
We have therefore created a daily maintenance period that spans this downtime period with no data collection, to surpress the monitoring alerts on these servers.
The main issue we are encountering is that Zabbix does not manage and reschedule missed items, that should have run during this offline period.
i.e. Discovery Rules set for 1d or Items set for 1d, which previously ran during this offline period, as the server was up.
Once the Agent2 starts up, I wouls expect it to get the update list of Discovey Rules and Items and action them accordingly.
I know on the template the item can be scheduled to run during a fixed time period or be flexible.
But for the amount of templates, discovery rules and ite,s we have that is used across 400+ servers, forcing this fixed time period just for 3 to 5 servers, is not an option.
The ultimate solution would be a "When Active" field on the hosts configuration.
Until then I need advise on how to ensure all items are reschedule that was missed between when the agent shuts down and until itstarts-up.
