I think there is a bug in Zabbix, Ive created item which count occurencies of specified regexp in log file. Normally its about 300-400 per minute. Once I restart my zabbix-agent this value get to about 10000, Ive found that its because zabbix read that logfile from scratch after agent restart.
Shouldn't just agent get "lastlogsize" value from zabbix server and continue read file from last place?
I got "skip" mode set.
