How to get the alert if server down for 72H

Hello,

Im trying to create a trigger that send an alert for a device if it is offline for 72H but i cant figure it out how to do it.
Can someone explain please?

I just have to clone Template and edit Trigger?

Hi, this depends on the item you want to use, eg. if you are using a simple ping item, you would set the update intervall to let's say 12 h and a trigger that calculates the average of the last 6 values.
Zero meaning no response for the last 6*12h. To do so, you could copy an existing item from a template to you template or clone a template to a different name and edit the trigger.

Yes i want to check by simple ping , im using Template Module ICMP Ping , the idea is to clone and modify to ping a Checkpoint, if it was 72h offline send an alert.
Ok i set the trigger like this max(/Template Module ICMP Ping 72H/icmpping,#6)=0 and the item to Update interval to 12H.

instead of max you could also consider to use avg=average, just try both with a shorter update intervall, to check latest data within a working day ;-)
also something like count(blablabla/icmpping,30m,,"0")>5 is worth a try

I think i figure it out.
I used this code for 2m for test and i reveive the alert 2m before the issue
now i go to change to 3Days like this and test max(/Template Module ICMP Ping 72H/icmpping,3d)=0
