Hello,

we want to create odoo tasks (similar to otrs) for important problems.
I can configure the odoo API via media types.
However I'm not sure what is the best or simpliest way to trigger the task creation.
My idea was something like a control field in the problem acknowledge window.
Maybe there are solutions without developer needs.



Any suggestions are very appreciated.

Not through that ack window... You can add a script (Administration-> scripts) which can be executed from the menu that opens if you click on problem name... Theres even separate type "manual event action"...

There is even no need to create the menu entry, this is done automatically.
