I'm primarily interested in connecting to a server from an active agent, and by sending SNMP traps to the zabbix server. I have been unable to get either to enter the server. No matter how I configure it, it looks like nothing is touching my server. Version: 6.4.13.
Perhaps I'm setting up the agents incorrectly. For reference, the default domain setup from the zabbix iso appears to be mydomain.com/zabbix. I couldnt figure out if I should put that whole string including /zabbix into the "server address" or not. Regardless, I tried both and neither worked.
Also worth noting that this is on a cloud server, so none of it is over LAN, all WAN access. I've tried opening all related firewall ports. Here's the config for my host on zabbix:
