    Alerting within Zabbix

    Hi Everyone

    I am still a newcomer to Zabbix, we have put in a 6.0 server into our environment, and have added some devices to the solution. I am exploring how alerting works.

    Now I can see that problems are created by triggers, and the triggers have the relevant metrics around what causes them to fire and what causes them to reset.
    What I am trying to understand is how to handle to problem scenario. Now when a trigger fires. (I have currently setup email alerting) I want to send that to a Ticket Management system.

    In our case we are using Zoho Desk. From what I can see the Trigger email, will include the trigger description and some brief details on what it was triggered on and so forth. What I am trying to understand is how customisable is the format of that email itself?
    From what I can see it seems to be restricted to the Trigger Description itself. Am I able to put in a macro value or something like that in the Subject line that includes the hostname of the Host having the issue.

    I have experience with other NMS/OSS solutions where they had the ability to allow the relevant variable to be put into the subject or body of the email, hence my question.

    I think I just answered my own queston, that this is under media types? and choose the appropriate item.
