Page size of the webpage

I have a scenario to monitor the size of the webpages(basically urls).Any thoughts how to implement in zabbix?

I have exactly the same question here. It isn't in Zabbix at the moment, although the check would be used often.

Alexei, how do I file a "wanted" thingy? In the meanwhile I'll check this out myself

I'm currently working on http://www.diveintopython.org/http_w...es/review.html.

If you use:

import urllib
data= urllib.urlopen('http://www.diedx.nl'.read()
len(data)

you get the amount of data the website has. Have fun!
