New to Zabbix .. Discovery seems to not work when adding VMware template

Hi guys,

I just set up Zabbix 6.4.15 on Ubuntu 24.04 and followed the below guide to add my VMware environment. I did this a few times but discovery doesn't seem to be triggering. I also cannot find the execute now button so I assume this is being done automatically. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks

Thanks and apologies for the late reply. I had another warning saying that Zabbix server was not running even though it was. I checked about this and at first I thought it was a false positive but turned out it was not. I just re-installed everything to be honest and now everything seems running fine. Cheers!

Too little info here...
Did you start vmware collector(s)? Created a host with all the needed macros etc?
Do you see anything in Zabbix server logs about vmware... ? Theres also some extended logging options mentioned here https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...-use-templates
