Importing historical data from other sources.

    Hi all,

I've just added a few new daily items to my monitor to get a historical view of the data, mostly centered around forum activity.

The items are reading correctly, once per day (delay = 86400), and the graph was beginning to take shape from the first 3 values.

I also have four data sets going back a further 18 months that I took from the forum itself. The data, much as in zabbix is just clock and value pairs. I figured I could simply import this data into the history table under the relevant itemid and have the graphs display all of it. All I seem to get on the graph, however, are the last 3 values that have been read since I created the items.

Is there some other index or counter I have to set elsewhere to get zabbix to notice the imported values?

    Me Too

I also need an answer to this. I have a bunch of historical data from an old system that someone wants to see. Lucky for me all the data is "date, time, value, value" CSV, so importing it into "Items" I create should be no problem. That is until I read the previous post.

So, what extra little detail will I need to make this happen???
