Oracle DB monitoring with oracle by zabbix agent not supported error

I am attempting to use OOTB Oracle Zabbix agent to monitor an Oracle Database
I am seeing a lot of oracle items, such as Oracle: Ping that have a status of "not supported" with the error "unsupported item key"
and i get the same error when i try to configure and test Oracle: Ping

    any ideas why?

I have been unable to configure monitoring on an oracle DB because of this

The keys I am using are
          $ORACLE.CONNSTRING = tcp://hostname:1521
          $ORACLE.PASSWORD
          $ORACLE.SERVICE
          $ORACLE.USER

Do you have agent2 installed or trying to use this with classic agent?

From that picture you cannot determine, what agent type you have. "Zabbix agent" in that picture refers to check type (passive check). Why I think you have wrong type is because those item keys should be built in to agent2, if you see an error "unknown item key", then you most probably have wrong agent type installed.
