FortiGate HTTP Error cannot get URL Failed writing received data to disk/application.

Hi,

We are monitoring our firewalls with zabbix via api, but last week it suddendly stopped working with the eroor: Error: cannot get URL: Failed writing received data to disk/application. We are not sure why this isnt working like before. Does somebody know how we can solve this issue?

We also see this kind of error that were not there boefore.

Does ZBX-23702 in Zabbix support portal (sorry, cannot add link because it will cause the message to go Unapproved) help:

This is not limited to the web scenarios as we are seeing the same in the Javascript HTTP client as well. Our discoveries were no longer working until we added the

Accept-Encoding: identity

header to the request.

I tried to play around with Accept-Encoding:but was not able to make it work. We even regenerated the API token but with no succes.

If you use the same API call with the same token manually with curl, does it work?

This is a basic troubleshooting step: finding out if the problem is in the call source or in the call destination.

Issue resolved. We updated all of our images to Ubuntu instead of Alpine Linux.
