I am new to Zabbix, so my in advance my apologies if this is a dumb question.
Following this Youtube: I did a basic Zabbix setup in my lab:
Problem: Actions that for instance should result in sending an email are not fired. Also, on the monitoring dashboard under section 'Last 20 issues' column 'Actions' does not show a number.
Somehow it looks like the action is not connected to the host, while it is.
What I did:
Am I missing something, or can anyone me advise how to troubleshoot this?

What I did:
- Set up a host
- Set up trigger for host (I use template triggers that come with Zabbix).
- Check that Server and Agent communicate --> OK. Data comes into Zabbix server
- From this moment on Dashboard shows an issue on the correct trigger for the host
- Create an Action that as condition works on my trigger and as Operation sends an email to me.
- Checked that SMTP works from the Zabbix server
- Set up mail settings for user Admin (Media)
- Setup SMTP settings under Adminstration -> Media types.
Am I missing something, or can anyone me advise how to troubleshoot this?
