Hey!
Actually i am trying to understand how the SLA Calculation algorithm on zabbix works. My IT-Service structure is like:
- IT
-- SQL Cluster
--- Node1
---- Trigger1
---- Trigger2
--- Node2
---- Trigger1
---- Trigger2
--- Node3
---- Trigger1
---- Trigger2
If there is any Problem with Node1 and the SLA Value is for example 95% it reduces the Value of SQL Cluster -5%. Shouldnt the Value calculated like
(95% + 100% + 100%) / 3 = 98,33
The reason why i ask is i have got a Server on the 3rd Level with a low sla value (85%) and zabbix Shows me the SLA of the Level "IT" like 83% (100%-85%- 2% of other Services)...
I hope someone of you can help me to understand, the only Thing i realized now is, that Zabbix doesnt use the average value ...
Thanks in advance and greets
