notification for turned down hosts

hey guys,
im getting the "host unreachable" notification after a host is turned down manually. Thats just too much!! Can i set the options to send me the notification only when the computer is not manually turned off? I mean i want to know when a computer crushes or if the network card is broken... but not when the computer is turned off manually...

How do you want to decide if a host were shut down correctly or died?
That wont be easy, but if you have a "value" for that you can implement it

so it wont be that easy.. i had the same and came to the conclusion that i wont spend more time on it
