    OS for Zabbix

I had run ZABBIX on Ubuntu and when ever I go through the version upgrade process, I end up having to rebuild ZABBIX from scratch. Someone told me that DEBIAN would be better and not created version upgrade issues.
The main issue is the database would ALWAYS have issues. Not sure if the team is working on a smoother upgrade package that can perform the proper steps on its own... but, I wanted to see if there were any opinions about Debian now that I have to rebuild my setup again... when I tried to update to 7.0 Every upgrade it fails on me.

If your Zabbix database structure or contents are corrupted so that you "always" have issues with it, I don't think the OS matters. But in general, yes, Debian has proven (to me) to have been more stable than Ubuntu, due to their different release ideologies (Debian releases target at being stable, Ubuntu seems to prioritize frequent releases and latest app versions).

I didn't see you doing much of troubleshooting, mentioning your OS version or responding to my log question in your previous post about the upgrade problem. Feel free to continue that if desired.
