    Discovery duplicates IPMI IP

    Hi!

I have setup a linux host with linux agent2 7.0 passive. On the server (linux 7.0) I have setup discovery on the lan with http/https/ping/ssh/telnet every 15m.
The host got both the lan ip and the ipmi ip manually set and is working fine. In host settings I see one ip for the agent and one ip for ipmi.

When the discovery has run the ipmi address is added/duplicated to the list of agent addresses, means for the host entry I now have 2x ipmi address (ipmi+agent settings) and 1x lan ip (agent). When ipmi address is added to the agent the green "ZBX" goes grey.
When I delete the impi address at the host's agent settings, it gets added again by discovery a few minutes later. When I delete the entry "ZBX" goes green again for a few minutes.

I just tested with active agent. That does not make a difference.

Yes, I have seen https://www.zabbix.com/forum/zabbix-...bility-unknown and https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBXNEXT-5088 but I believe that this may be something slightly different. And yes, there are unknown entries that I believe should not be unknown. But my problem is the impi address being added to the agent's address.

I don't know why the ipmi address gets duplicated to the agent and why "ZBX" goes grey. Is there a reason for that?
Is there a way to prevent the impi address from being added to the host's agent entry by discovery except disabling discovery?

    Thx!
