Template Type

Hello all,

In looking at the standard Linux agent template vs the Linux active template I am noticing type: ZABBIX_ACTIVE. Does this automagically change a passive template to active? Is there additional code in the template to look for, that does this? I am trying to customize the FreeBSD template to be my own and would like to make an active template.

The only difference is the items' types: "Zabbix agent" or "Zabbix agent (active)". When all the items in the template use "Zabbix agent (active)" items, the template is said to be "agent active". So it really is that simple, no other magic involved.
