media type email: field To

Hi !
I use Zabbix for the first time and have a newbie question
I created a new media type of "email" type. I receive correctly the alert messages from my Zabbix server but in the field "To" I have my own email address.
I would like to have a string such as "My Zabbix server".
Is it possible ?

Hi,
im not quit sure i understand the issue but ill explain the email settings :

it has 3 parts:
(zabbix server ver 3)
1.Administration -> Media types -> Email
and you have to fill all the fields. which this step i understand you did.

2.Administration -> choose your user name ->tab Media
and add you user email address.

3.Configuration -> Actions
and there on the right menu : Event source u choose Triggers.
there you set you email message and to who it will sent to.

you have there a default event "Report problems to Zabbix administrators"
you can remove the

'Recovery message' there if you dont want to get it and only wants do get the problem message.

you have to make sure your "Condition" tab is set
my tab for exsample is set to : Trigger value = PROBLEM

and on the "Operation" Tab you set :
Default operation step duration 60


Operation details
Steps 1-1
Step duration 0

Send to User groups: choose your user Group

Send to Users: choose your user

Send only to : Email

Default message V

and press update.

to check if all work you can check like this :
Reports -> Action log

Yes you didn't understand me
The field "To" of the received emails contains my own email address. I would like rather a name such as "My Zabbix server".

then set a macro which says {myzabbixserver} is your email at macros.
i dont understand the need

If you have several Zabbix servers, how do you distinguish them in your email client ?
Could you developp your idea of macro, I am newbie ...
- set a macro: where ? how ?

If you want to know from which zabbix server it comes, why don't you simply edit your actions and add the name of your zabbix server in the subject of the mail that is sent ?
