Upgrading from 6.0.23 to 7.0 with PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB

We're running Zabbix 6.0.23 from Debian bookworm-backports (I want to avoid third-party repositories as much as possible), which the maintainer has replaced with 7.0.0 (soon 7.0.1, probably). 6.0.23 only supports TimescaleDB 2.11, whereas 7.0 requires at least TimescaleDB 2.13. Does anyone see any problems with simply stopping zabbix_server, upgrading TimescaleDB, and then upgrading Zabbix and starting zabbix_server?

I don't see an issue in doing that TS upgrade between versions... You are doing backups before that, aren't you.. ? You can always test it ... if it does not work, restore and try something else..

I am doing regular backups of the configuration tables, but not all the collected data, due to the time and space that would take.
