Hello eveyone,
I'm trying to monitor an oracle DB server using zabbix, where:
- the zabbix server is on cloud and is reachable (using it's public ip or DNS name)
- DB server can reach zabbix server thru firewall, zabbix can't connect to DB server since it doesn't have public ip
- "Oracle by zabbix agent 2" was used after updating agent type to "zabbix agent (active)"
- Zabbix server version is 6.2 and zabbix-agent ver 2 is used
Some data were received successfully, but many metrics still failed and doesn't able to retrieve any data. with error " Unknow metric "
What can cause this issue and what is the proposed solutions to overcome it?
- Note: when zabbix server is in the same network (local) and the template is Oracle by zabbix agent 2 (active); all items successfully received data.
