    Unsupported MariaDB database server version

    Hi,
    after installing Zabbix on a Debain 12 VM using the instructions given for package installation I encountered the following error.
    Zabbix UI is loading fine but it says that the installed MariaDB Database Server it not the correct version. Please see attached screenshot.
    I already flagged AllowUnsupportedDBVersions=1 in zabbix_server.conf but no success so far.

    How could I solve this problem?

    The screenshot did not come through.

    This is the MariaDB package provided by Debian 12 and it works just fine as documented:

    $ dpkg -l mariadb-server | grep server
    ii mariadb-server 1:10.11.6-0+deb12u1 amd64 MariaDB database server binaries

    = MariaDB 10.11.6

      Here is the missing screenshot. I followed the instructions on the website. When, during the installation process, should I enter these commands you provided?

        What is your Zabbix version? I'm talking about the latest LTS version (7.0.x), are you talking about some older one?

          Please see attached screenshot for further information.
          I'm using 7.0 LTS and the error occurs right after installation when I login into Zabbix UI. Plain VM Debian 12 installation.
