I was monitoring a virtual server using using the zabbix agent. Later on I added VMWare host discovery and the same host was discovered and added through that. Now I have 2 host entries pointing to the same machine.
Is there a way I can merge these two, preserving all monitored history and continue with zabbix-agent checks pulled from inside the host, as well as VMWare checks data pulled from vCenter?
If this is possible without preserving one of the histories, I'd be fine with losing discovered host VMWare checks history.
If someone has gone through this and knows a procedure that works please share.
