How to obtain host location in a template

Hi All,

I have 1 template that grabs the snmp location of a host and adds it to the hosts' inventory location. I have another template trying to get the results of host inventory location and do a lookup of it, but I can't get it to populate the host inventory location automatically.

I've tried using INVENTORY.LOCATION macro but I'm not getting any results. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks

Inventory macros cannot be used there..
only in following places.
→ Trigger-based notifications and commands
→ Problem update notifications and commands
→ Internal notifications
→ Tag names and values
→ Map element labels, map URL names and values
→ Manual event action scripts
→ Description of item value widget

Is it possible to get some guidance on how to accomplish this. All I'm trying to do is lookup the location of the host and have the HTTP template URL call it. Thanks
