Is there a way to call a monitor externaly?

    Hi,

I would like to "integrate" zabbix with one of our products, so that the support team can have a quick overview of some websites that we monitor with Zabbix. In our product we would like to call something like this:

And based on the link we call(each link would be a url monitor, or event a server or service) based on the reply we would have a map with red or green circles saying if it is good or not.

I don't want the local support team having access to Zabbix screens, since this kind of information, for them, would be considered more advanced than what they really need.

Is it possible to achieve this?

    Thanks,
    Nuno

i dont know about that option, but
you can set a user with your permission and decide what they can see.

You can use Grafana for that kind of setup, it will only display the information you set up in your dashboards.

I actually wanted something like a webservice, so that I could manually call that URL, and get the result (something like good/bad, etc...)

        Is there a way?

            Yeah,

Actually, yesterday I went digging with the API, in order to be able to have that.

            Thanks!

Indeed, with the Zabbix API you can do some pretty stuff.
Example here of a custom dashboard : https://www.andrewletson.com/buildin...bbix-frontend/
