    Issues with Linux by SNMP

    I have a few appliances that are running Linux. These appliances are provided by a vendor and we do not have access to the OS. We are only exposed to the frond html interface where I see the SNMP configuration.
    So I configured on Zabbix all the hosts using the Linux by SNMP and uploaded here (because the upload option was not allowing me to upload): https://imgur.com/a/UxBnFIS

    So initially everything looks good, however my Graphs are only showing a few things about the server such as Disk Capacity, Network utilization. Reading online, it looks like I have to configure the MACRO option and I was wondering if someone here could config that.
    I did try to configure the MACRO but I get the error showing on the link above.

    My community is public on the host section but on the MACRO it wont allow. Wondering what I`m missing.

    Thanks in advance

    Spent quite some time reading last night and I think I have found a few things;

    1- The appliance vendor has a MIB available on their site which I downloaded.
    2- Looks like MIBs are imported into Zabbix.
    3- Found a script mib2zabbix that converts the file, however there are many posts saying that after the script run, they cant import into zabbix because it is in a old version of Zabbix, therefore other things have to be updated.

    Is there a way to convert MIB I have into Zabbix current version files format so I can import that?
    Thank you

      There is no good tool for that... Anything snmp based is pretty much up to you, how to create. One by one, searching from MIB or scripting something etc... Good opportunity to learn something, but oh so time consuming...

        Thanks for the reply.

        I converted the MIB to Zabbix but the template does not show much.
        So I went back and I am using Linux by SNMP template. It shows my network information such as speed, load etc but when I clock in latest information and look for CPU/Memory/Average Load etc there is a read message saying "No Such Instance currently exists at this OID"
        Is there a way to fix that?

          snmpget/walk are your friends to identify correct OID-s. Those might not be available in your particular device...
