Hello,
Let me introduce what we have and what we are trying to monitor so you can understand what we are trying to set up.
We have one URL service on HA environment, which ends in 2 host, balanced.
At the moment we are monitoring the underlayer servers, so when we face a problem in one of them an alarm is being elevated, when what we really want to have is the following:
HOST1 h1
Trigger 1 t1
HOST2 h2
Trigger 1 t1
If h1.t1=0 & h2.t1=0 -> OK.
If h1.t1=0 & h2.t1=1 -> Trigger HA Service OK, Service on Host 2 DOWN (High severity)
If h1.t1=1 & h2.t1=0 -> Trigger HA Service OK, Service on Host 1 DOWN (High severity)
If h1.t1=1 & h2.t1=1 -> Trigger HA Service DOWN (Critical Severity
Assumming that 0 is OK and 1 is NOOK.
We have zabbix version 1.8.1
Hope I explanined it properly.
Thanks in advance and best regards,
J.
