monitor http w/o agent

I simply want to monitor http for a certain website without agents installed.

From Config > Host, it seems that I need to specify listed interfaces such as agent/JMX/IPMI

centos 6 32-bit

zabbix install via yum

I also tried zabbix 3.0 from repo but still no http monitoring function

i think you don't need an agent because the web scenarios don't use the ip for the agent. you enter the url to be checked in the steps. the server needs to be compiled with the --with-libcurl option.
