How to measure a total volume of traffic using zabbix agent and using snmp also

I am new to zabbix and i use the predefined templates to monitor my network traffic. All things work fine. Now i am facing a problem. I want to measure the total volume of traffic consume using zabbix. As i am new to zabbix so its to hard for me to get the information using zabbix. Is anyone available to help me out and guide me how to do that. How can i achieve this using zabbix agent or snmp.

I tried to create an item with type calculated and use formulas to calculate and achieve my result but it did not work for me. I want to get the total volume of traffic consumed.

Just to have more details - You want to have information about network traffic, right,
But what do you mean in: "I want to measure the total volume of traffic consume using zabbix"

Do you want to measure for example traffic on WAN interface of your router? Do you want to measure traffic on interfaces of your network switch/router/etc..?
Or do you want to measure network traffic on some Win/Linux/unix hosts(use of Zabbix Agent)?
Please add more details,

Hey Thanks for your reply. I want to measure traffic on my hosts (Some are windows and mostly are mac books) currently using snmp for macbooks and agent for windows .

Okay - default Zabbix templates, eg. "Windows network by Zabbix Agent", are set to check for example Bits sent and Bits recived.
Do you need something else than that?

I need to get volume like how much MB or GB internet consumes by my hosts
