Monitoring Veeam with Zabbix templates. How do i get more info out of it?

Hello all,

I am using both the official Zabbix templates for Veeam. Veeam backup manager and the Veeam backup & Replication console. VEEAM monitoring and integration with Zabbix i am using Zabbix 6.4 atm.

Is there anyone who know a way to get more information in the alarms?

I would like to know what the servers name is and the description of the error.

Right now i am getting an alarm with status Failed or failed jobs over x hosts.

Like how can i get an alarm saying something like status Failed on host123 with error xxxx.

I think there are more options in the API for the Backup & Replication console, it seems to getting more data. But i am not the best at JavaScript. I am using the JavaScript from the template.

Any help would be appreciated.

I ended up using PowerShell for this, while using the Veeam module and generate a JSON file which Zabbix look into and makes alarm.
