Rookie here. I'm trying to setup an environment in which a zabbix server and zabbix proxy are connected (both are VM's within VMWare). I can't seem to get them to connect, despite my efforts and following the guidelines.
On the server side I get the error message (when looking at the logfiles):
zabbix proxy returned invalid host availabiity
On the proxy side when I check the logfiles I see:
zabbix database cannot work with zabbix server database.
Both are installed using the appliance on zabbix's website. Anyone?
