Monitor smtp locally

Hello,

How do I monitor an SMTP that is only available for local access to the server, without remote access.

Using the default smtp template, it looks like it needs to connect remotely.

I see two solutions :
- UserParameter through the Zabbix Agent if it's installed on the server ;
- Make a script that checks the availability of the server and sends the information to the Zabbix Server through zabbix_sender
