Pulling statistics from MS SQL database.

Perhaps I am not searching correctly. However, I have been searching for information on various ways to pull metrics pertaining to usage information for an application and cannot find anything. I always seem to spin out on "pull data from the zabbix database" which I am not interested in doing.

    Thanks in advance,

      What kind of statistics?

I believe most are reported to Windows Performance Counters, in which case it should be very easy to monitor. Have you searched for existing templates? I'm pretty sure there are some excellent ones out there.

If not, you can create a Powershell script that uses the invoke-sqlcmd cmdlet to query the database, and send the results to Zabbix.
