SNMP DISCOVERY - Add only active Items

    Hi,

Can someone help to figure out how to do this:
I`ve create a Template for PDU. Template has discovery rule which founds all 16 outlets. Also apply trigger if socket is not On.
But the problem is that for new PDU not all outlets connected and dashboard is in red colors.

If there any possibility to find only active outlets and apply trigger to them?

i think this is what discovery rule meant to do - discover all your outlets
regardless if they active or not.
just customize the triggers and disable what you dont need.

This is something that you need to catch at the start of low-level discovery, via a filter. You'll have to create a custom macro (For example - {#ACTIVEOUTLETS}) and fill it with an OID that returns the status of an outlet.

Then you'll have to take that macro to the filters tab, filter only the active outlets and you don't have to worry about where the trigger gets applied.
