getting data from graphite

I have some metrics being reported to a graphite instance that I would love to be able to view on my Zabbix dashboard (rather than seeing them in graphite or grafana). Is this possible?

I see a bunch of projects like https://github.com/srknc/graphite2zabbix and https://github.com/adubkov/graphite-to-zabbix but they're all ~10 years old and no longer working; does anyone have something that works with modern Zabbix?

Answering my own question - I think this is actually trivial; I can just use the Zabbix HTTP Agent with the appropriate Graphite call (probably using summarize()) and JSONPath preprocessing.

On the Zabbix roadmap, https://www.zabbix.com/roadmap , "Time series ingestion" from external systems is a high priority item for 7.2. Let's hope that includes Whisper-format files
