(7.0.3) Zabbix Proxy State Toggles Offline/Online

Hi!

I noticed that the Zabbix proxy status toggles to offline after ~60s and changes to online again when the Zabbix server sends configuration data to the proxy every ~130s. Then the game repeats.

How is the Proxy status determined?

Follow up: How does Zabbix (7+) determine the intervall it sends configuration data to the proxy?

It is tunable time and depends is it for active or passive proxy, tuned in proxy config or in server config...

For proxy:
ProxyConfigFrequency
How often the proxy retrieves configuration data from Zabbix server in seconds.
Active proxy parameter. Ignored for passive proxies (see ProxyMode parameter).

Default: 10
Range: 1-604800

For server
ProxyConfigFrequency
Determines how often Zabbix server sends configuration data to a Zabbix proxy in seconds. Used only for proxies in a passive mode.

Default: 10
Range: 1-604800

I currently have a dozen or so proxies and a server in version 7.0.5, all proxies in version 7.x. I also have a problem that every now and then a given proxy goes into State Offline and lights red, and then after e.g. 10 minutes it goes back online. This started happening after updating the server to version 7.0.5. Has anyone solved this problem?

In my case I had a second proxy wich was inaccesible (prepared, added but not used for host/item monitoring at the time of wrting my initial post). As soon as the 2nd proxy was reachable for the zabbix server all the strange behaviour was gone immediatly.

if you added second (or third vs..) proxies and the server can't access the new proxy last proxx server goes offline/online. In my senerio after I can reach the last proxy the problem has been resolved. (may be it is about connection timeout periods)
