SNMP will not activate?

Hi.

I'm all new to zabbix and I just can't get it to accept my SNMP (it will not turn green) in the Hosts section. I can see the SNMP service is running in debian, but no matter what I do, I can not get it to work?

Does anyone have some advice or might have an idea to some software i'm missing?

Did you activate the StartSNMPTrapper option in the zabbix config file? The default value is 0. It should be set to 1.

Having the same issue. I have it set to 1, but the SNMP is not green.
