There may be some documentation that offers information on this . . . if so, please forward a url with this documentation my way. Maybe I missed something.
I currently use a non-zabbix monitoring system that attempts to "self heal" when something happens before problems actually happen.
When a service fails, the system will attempt to restart it. In addition, the montioring system will also send alerts. If a system has a service that fails and will not start properly, it will send a notification to the hands on team at the NOC for intervention there in the DC.
I would like to have this functionality available in zabbix. Zabbix seems to be such a wonderful product and offers great trends. It is very light and not resource intensive.
Can someone point me to some suggestions? I did search this forum and looked at documentation, but still "spinning wheels".
