Im gonna start explaining my scenario:
I have a LAN that I want to monitor with Zabbix 3.0. In this LAN I installed Zabbix in CentOS and I made the configuration following te official documentation https://www.zabbix.com/documentation/3.0/doku.php
At the beginning everythings works. From Zabbix I can reach the others host from the network that I want to monitor.
By default Zabbix has a example to monitor and it is himself (Zabbix Server). It comes with the template Template App Zabbix Server and its collecting data, triggers works perfect and I can see the events.
Now my problem is when I add a host (followig the documentation of Zabbix) that for example doesnt exist and I add a template for example "Template ICMP Ping" it doesn't work. Zabbix doesn't show events about this host. I check the template and I configured the time of the Item ping in 7 sec and I also check the triggers and looks OK.
I'll check everything in the config of Zabbix and CentOS system and its fine. I try PFSense with the Zabbix Agent and ZBX appears in green but it's not able to show alarms.
Has been someone a similar problem? Do you have a idea why that happen?
