Alerts for unusual cases

Hi,

Is it possible (if yes, how) to create alert for:
No server avability, when checking by active agent? I have this count-box status, but want also alert, trigger e-mail notification etc
Same question for plugout cable for any network interface etc, maybe lack of ip etc (some servers have 4, some have 8 etc - zabbix is detecting them, but have no idea how create such alert).

I'm not sure your environment and not touched windows monitoring for quite some time, so can not say anything about that side of things, but default Linux template should have both things you ask about.

For availability it should have "Zabbix Agent is not available" and "Unavailable by ICMP ping" alerts.
For NIC discovery it should also have alert for interface status like "Interface eno1: Link down". Catch here is that Zabbix should first see interface as UP and then going DOWN to raise the alert. If alert is always DOWN it will not produce any alert.
For lack of IP I don't believe there is anything, so if you would want to have that - you'd need to write it as your own design (also keep in mind that it can lead to lot of false-positives if you have not used NICs on your servers)
