How can I monitor my device via SNMP

What is the best way to monitor my FortiExtender? There is no template available for a FortiExtender.
(my fortigates are monitored via the FortiGate by HTTP template)

I want to monitor the modem data usage via SNMP. I have the MIB file and the OIDs

fext info modem data usage mb --> 1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.121.21.3.3.1.6

fext info modem data usage percentage --> 1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.121.21.3.3.1.7

Can someone guide me how I should configure this?

To monitor your device via SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol), follow these steps:
      1. Enable SNMP on Your Device: Ensure SNMP is enabled on the device you want to monitor (e.g., router, server). This typically involves configuring SNMP settings through the device's management interface.
      2. Install SNMP Monitoring Software: Use SNMP management tools like PRTG Network Monitor, SolarWinds, or Nagios to query the device for performance metrics such as CPU usage, memory, and network traffic.
      3. Configure SNMP Community Strings: Set up community strings (passwords) on your device to allow access to SNMP data. The most common strings are "public" for read-only access and "private" for read/write access.
      4. Add Device to Monitoring Software: In your SNMP monitoring software, input the device's IP address, SNMP version (v1, v2c, or v3), and community string to start gathering data.
      5. Monitor and Set Alerts: Use the software to configure alerts based on thresholds you set (e.g., if CPU usage exceeds a certain limit).
