Migrating Zabbix 6.4 from CentOS 8 Stream to Rocky 9 with existing PoatgreSQL DB

    Hello....

I have Zabbix server 6.4.19 on CentOS 8 Stream with PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB backend on separate server.
Can I install fresh Zabbix server 6.4.19 on Rocky Linux 9 and use existing database ?

    Regards....

      Thanks....

I see migration like this :

      1. Install fresh Zabbix server on Rocky 9.
      2. Copy server and agent configs from old installation.
      3. Configure SELinux.
      4. Start new Zabbix server and agent.

Am I right ? Or I need some more steps ?

I think there is also a config for UI somewhere, what you need...

            Hello...
            UI config lives in database.

I have successfully launched new server with existing database and settings.
Now I have same Zabbix Server on new Rocky Linux 9.

I meant "conf/zabbix.conf.php" file for your UI. It is not a server conf or agent conf, what you mentioned for copying..

                Thank You for advice.

I copied /etc/zabbix/*. In my case file zabbix.conf.php lives in /etc/zabbix/web.
Also I copied snmp configs and MIB files from old system.

Now zabbix works as I expected.
