    Web Scenario Update interval

    Hello everyone,

I have created a web scenario for one of my host to check if a specific phrase is present on the website between 3 a.m. and 5 p.m.

I set an update interval of one day for the web scenario.
However, I noticed that the check is always performed at 1 a.m., which causes an error.

Since this timing doesn't work for the check I need to perform, is there a way to change the update interval to specify a particular time?
For example, can the check be scheduled for 4 a.m.?

    Thanks and kind regards!

How exactly do you expect check to be performed between 3am and 5pm if there is no scheduling options in webscenario? setting interval to 1d will execute it based on the moment that template was installed on server... DId you happen to work late and do it at 1am?

Depending on complexity, you may be able to use "http agent" or "script" type item instead...

      Hi Cyber,

The check must be performed only once at any time between 3:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

I wasn’t working at that time, so it seems strange to me.

I also tried updating the update interval parameter to 9:00 AM, but it keeps running the check at 1:00 AM. Therefore, I can’t find a solution.

      Can u help me?

I don't have any item inside the host.
Only the web scenario and one trigger.

update interval is interval not a specific time like 9:00AM... As I said web scenarios do not have scheduling options... they can only be executed in certain interval... and that will depend on the moment of activating that scenario...

you can check for a string with http agent type of item also...

          Thank you for the advice.
I created an item to monitor my page, but how can I be notified if the text I want is not present on the page?

By creating a trigger... use "find" function for example.

And if you want your item be checked once at 17:05, then set update interval to 0.
Scheduling intervals are used to check items at specific times. While flexible intervals are designed to redefine the default item update interval, the scheduling intervals are used to specify an independent checking schedule, which is executed in parallel.
