    How does AllowSoftwareUpdateCheck option works?

Hello, I have zabbix 7.0.6 server setup on host that has no direct connection to the internet. When I try to reach internet addresses from the host I get DNS resolution error and when trying to use IP address directly it times out.
I noticed that zabbix web UI reports about new version available, because AllowSoftwareUpdateCheck option is enabled in configuration.

Does anyone knows how this check works? Documentation indicates that zabbix.com sends information to servers instead of servers querying zabbix.com. Is this true or just bad wording in documentation?

Zabbix.com does nto send you anything... it just cannot know about all installed instances to be able to send such info.. I guess bad wording, when using "allow to receive about ". Should be "Allow check for"
this parameter just enables checking if there is newer versions available, displayed in "system information" widget.

That makes sense. Now I need to figure out how zabbix is reaching zabbix.com, as I cannot resolve DNS addresses from host itself or reach webpages using IP and there is no proxy configured either. Any suggestions I could try regarding this?
