    Best Practice of Action Configuration

    Hi All,

I am now using Zabbix to monitoring 500 hosts which many hosts groups/application/templates have been configuration. However, the configuration of Action is headache to me now since the overlapping the conditions of action lead to the action being triggered several times.

For example, the file system full of server A is belong to [host group A] and [application X]. However, I have 2 actions configured separately for host group A and application X, each of the action will trigger email to same group of user. Eventually, 2 emails are sent to them. I just quoted the simplified situation, but scenerio are similar.

Is there any guide line for me to config action in smarter way?? I know it is dump config now...

Sorry for my mistake, what I mean is :

I have 2 actions configured separately for host group A and application X, each of the action will trigger email to different group of user. Eventually trigger event for Application X will also trigger the event for host group A since items of Application X is belong to host group A.

I need to define many exceptions to prevent mistakenly sent sms/email

      thx!
