Host is down (ICMP ping not responding). Should make all triggers dependent of that?

I have a nodata(disk, 5m)=1 trigger to warn me that the disk item haven't been updated for a while. It's an important one: if that item isn't updated, then surely my "disk full" trigger won't ever trigger.

There's another trigger "ICMP check, host down". Surely, the nodata(disk..) will trigger if the host is dow? So I've made that nodata() trigger dependent on the ICMP HOST DOWN check.

In icinga, I'm used to the "triggers" being ignored when the host is down (no extra work needed). How does this work in Zabbix? Do I need to make all the triggers in a template that'll trigger when the host goes down -- such as nodata(..) -- dependent on some hostdown-trigger?
