SNMP Configuration

I read a lot about it, includin Zabbix manual on internet, but I am not fully understanding what in fact do I need to do.

I configured a host to be monitorated, but it respond me with that phrase: "Timeout while connecting to "x.x.x.x:161"."

Is that because I need to configure the owner of that x ip to accept SNMP monitoring?

please check whether your snmpd process is running on the host

Mostly this error comes when the snmpd process is not running on the host

I thought about that

I was tinking that this would be the problem, but I recently discover that the 161 firewall port was not open.
Although, I did not had time to work on this, finally, thank you!
