I'm trying to set up Telegram Alerts, and I need a hand...
I have a Zabbix 7.0.5 (with mostly default configuration) on a Debian machine. I have followed this guide https://www.zabbix.com/integrations/telegram to set up Telegram notifications.
I created the Media Type and tested it successfully - this part works and I DO receive test messages in Telegram.
I created a new Zabbix user, assigned Telegram as a media type. This user has access to all alerts of all hosts on the Zabbix server. I also set up a trigger action so that alerts of severity Information or greater will activate a 'send message' operation to Telegram (somehow this wasn't covered in the Telegram integration guide on the link above, but I thought it's still needed).
Nevertheless, I still don't get any notifications in Telegram whenever a new alert pops up.
I think I missed something really obvious, but I can't find what it is...
I'd appreciate any hints to track this down and get it to work!
