JMX availablity status not showing Red or Green

Try increasing zabbix_server.conf debug=4 and restart zabbix server
see if you see some errors there.

THANKS, I will try it out again, see why it is not working, if I solve the issue I will post it back to the forum, to tell where I have gone wrong.

I'm facing same problem.

But when I issue test command, it works ok:
./zabbix_get_jmx.sh myhost myport 127.0.0.1 mylocalport 'jmx[\"java.lang:type=Threading\",ThreadCount]'
{"data":[{"value":"123"}],"response":"success"}

Have you set StartJavaPollers in zabbix_server.conf to 1 or higher?

Also check the values of JavaGateway and JavaGatewayPort.
